Some say that it could bring the dead to life, but Joe says he just plays for people: "Race, creed, color, national origin or language don't mean nothing to me. I just want them to listen to my music and enjoy themselves."

Zydeco Joe began playing the accordion in 1987. Only fourteen years ago. This is difficult to believe when most accomplished musicians have been played for most of their lives. In this short time he has attracted an international following. Part of this success is attributable to Joe's sincere and affable personality both on and off stage. He is an excellent down to earth conversationalist, in both French and English and is willing to engage in banter about any topic from music to life in gerneral. Original and creative best describe his style. The other band members are accomplished musicians as well as some of his best friends. Together they produce energized musc which is guarranted to rock your spirit.
